Nick entered the world of estate agency in 2008 after a career in the music industry where he worked for Dave Stewart of Eurythmics fame, rising from tea boy to sound engineer and working with many famous bands and individuals. He joined Frank Schippers in 2014.
Nick is competitive and loves winning business; getting great pleasure on being asked out to a property and having the chance to value and pitch, particularly if other agents are called out, and then being given the instruction by the owner. Nicks gains a great sense of achievement in this and then in finding the best possible tenants for the client.
One of the funniest moments in Nick’s career took place having arranged a viewing on a property with the existing tenant. When he arrived, he knocked on the door and, receiving no answer, let himself in and started showing the property to a new potential tenant. Reaching the bedroom, Nick switched on the light and the existing tenant suddenly jumped out of bed looking completely freaked out that someone was in the house. Nick explained who he was and the tenant apologised that he’d been working late the night before and forgotten all about the appointment!
Nick lives in Wokingham with his wife, two sons and their Cavachon dog called Cookie.
Away from the office, Nick enjoys travelling and has had some interesting adventures including sailing down the Amazon and going deep into the underwater Cayman Trough abyss in a two-man submarine in the Cayman islands.
Nick is also a keen follower of Arsenal and a football coach for the Wokingham and Emmsbrook FC U13 side. A closet “Mod”, he also has a passion for Vespa and Lambretta scooters and harbours an ambition to pass his A1 motorcycle licence.
