Having been an estate agent since the 1980’s, Frank set up the business in 2005 and loves coming to work and finding that every day is different to the previous one.
He particularly enjoys engaging with clients and customers and managing everyone’s expectations to ensure success.
Frank regards taking the step to start the business as his greatest achievement to date and having been able to build such as successful operation despite having to cope with several recessions during that time. He puts this down to having a very positive attitude and being consistent in the high standards that he and the team set and deliver.
He certainly intends to continue being the estate agent of choice and keep working hard. As he says - whilst the mind and body still let him!
When asked about any funny or unusual situations that he has encountered, Frank recalled an incident of mistaken identity where a client had gone away for the weekend and left him with a key. She made him aware of the cat being allowed in and out of the house through the cat flap and requested that he make sure that all upstairs doors were shut after any viewings.
After several viewings on a Saturday, Frank locked up, thinking he saw the cat at the end of the garden. Little did he know that this was actually a neighbour’s cat, because when he went back on the Sunday to check that all was OK before the owner returned on the Monday, the owner’s cat was locked in one of the bedrooms and sadly hadn’t managed to keep its legs crossed for long enough!
He loves being in his garden at weekends and after a long working day, relaxing with a pint of ale or a decent glass of red wine. He also enjoys weekends away in the Cotswolds and the occasional week in the Algarve. Being Dutch, he has family in the Netherlands, which he tries to see a couple of times a year.
