Film crews descended on Sandhurst last month to film a new sitcom for Channel 4.
The series, Man Down, is written by and stars Greg Davies, stand-up comedian and Mr Gilbert in the hit TV series and film The Inbetweeners.
The former Sandhurst School teacher chose to film the series in the town and will draw from his experience with the majority of filming taking place at the home of his past career in Owlsmoor Road.
Greg Davies said: “It's a dream come true that Channel 4 have commissioned my sitcom, I promise that all of the characters will be humiliated at every turn, regularly physically attacked and, at some point, fully naked in every episode.”
The new comedy sees the funny man play Dan, a childish idiot trapped in an adults life with crushing character flaws, an unwanted teaching job and uniquely dysfunctional friends.
The series will air in September.
